Continuum Data Calibration

In continuum mode, the detected outputs (DVM and 2 channel V/F) are always calibrated by cal constants to convert from input units to degrees K. Typing START CAL initiates a cal chopper procedure which determines a scaling constant CALSET in units of K/.0001 volt for the DVM and two constants VCL1 and VCL2 in units of K/counts for each channel of the 2 channel V/F. These constants are displayed at the bottom of screen 4 while in continuum mode, and can be set manually, if you don't trust the cal chopper results, by typing the appropriate keyword followed by the constant.

CALSET (K/.0001 volt)
Set the continuum cal constant for the panel DVM.
VCL1 (K/counts)
Set cal constant for channel 1 of the two channel continuum V/F hardware.
VCL2 (K/counts)
Set cal constant for channel 2 of the two channel continuum V/F hardware.

In continuum mode there is no SSB / DSB option ( SSB mode is forced, i.e. unity scaling factor is automatically imposed). However, the CFAC correction factor to the chopper cal (see Table 4.2 for complete description) can be turned on or off.
