The HELP program provides information about the tracking program keywords. HELP is initiated either by typing HELP alone or HELP followed by the name of one of the tracking program keywords or HELP categories. Entry of a carriage return at the HELP prompt will exit the program and return the user to the tracking programs. HELP may be operated at any time, and it does not interfere with any data collection programs which may be operating. However, you must exit from the HELP program in order to enter commands or view the normal tracking program displays.
Basically, HELP is meant to provide a detailed description of the function of all keywords and programs used by the tracking programs. Thus, a typical use of HELP would be to type HELP followed by a keyword name to get the writeup on that keyword. However, HELP also contains summary lists of keywords associated with different parts of the system to help jog your memory and even a list of the lists (MENU) to lead you to the keyword that you want.
