Command Entry from a Terminal

Assuming that the MODCOMP is turned on and the tracking programs have been initiated as described in Chapter 1, commands to the tracking programs may be issued through any one of three devices. For general observing, the VT100 command terminal in the control room is used, but it is also possible to enter commands from the UNIX workstation or remotely via a terminal attached to the modem.

!!! Whenever one of these three devices is in use for command entry, it is not possible to enter commands from the others until the command entry is completed.
